Career Analysis of Real Estate Agent

I will be conducting information about a Real Estate Agent. This person is responsible of providing guidance and helping buyers and sellers in marketing and buying property for the correct value under the best terms. A real estate agent determines financial abilities and client’s needs to propose solutions that suit them (Gambirazio, 2020). An individual who is a real estate agent organizes real estate dealings, puts sellers and purchasers together, and acts as their representative in negotiations. One has to be a licensed professional in order to become a real estate agent. They typically work on a commission whereby they get remunerated a percentage of the property’s sale fee. In several states, a real estate agent ought to work through a real estate firm, dealer, or fellow expert with more familiarity and a specialized license.

For my chosen career, which is real estate agent, there is a certification or licensing required. To become a certified real estate agent, one has to be at least eighteen years old, have a United States residency, complete a pre-license learning, and pass the state real estate examination. The necessities for pre-licensing courses and licensing applications are not the same in every state. Several states need 60-90 hours of college-level education on real estate basics, including contracts, title, deeds, and property ownership (Arndt et al., 2017). There are several ways one can consider to complete the real estate agent pre-licensing leraning requirements, from live classroom locations at local real estate institutions, technical schools, universities, and online real estate education.

For the real estate career, there are some skills one needs to learn and develop. Some of the skills that an individual requires include honesty and integrity, active listening skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, knowledge of the purchase process, and patience. Real estate agents are often able to gain the trust of others, make decisions calmly, and assist clients to feel secure and supported. It is essential to have cooperation, acceptance, and service to others.
