Hi Beth,
I liked your discussion. Thinking about how to transport materials created in the business is a good idea. I agree that the idea will be beneficial to the communities. Considering how you described your operations, you need diesel trucks and engines to move bulky materials. Technology is advancing so fast people are inventing new transport systems. But moving to electric cars doesn’t mean people forget the use of diesel trucks and engines.
I agree with your views, and they are concerns about future proceeds. People are trying to figure out how to precede transportation businesses. The politics surrounding the use of engines as major pollutants of the environment have negatively affected the use of these vehicles. Electric automobiles also have bad effects on the environment. I think that as a human being, we tend to adapt to new things so fast and forget to look at the negative part of it.
Your argument on how the problem is many political stands for debate. Purchasing an automobile looks to be cheaper. The purchase of an automobile has never been cheap, but I will agree on trucks are cheaper. The price of the two are variable that depends on demand and repairs. But I agree the engine trucks have proved to last longer, and the gasoline engine life span is a worry. The engineers have a task to invent more lasting ones.
