As if this is not enough, the students came up with a proposal that would then help them do research. The proposal is a procedure that outlines how a particular project would be conducted. In most cases, it helps students to apply what they have learnt in class and out in the field. In fact, proposals are first of all written prior to the real data collection in the field.
Group work helps students to support each other through sharing of ideas. The group presentations gave the students a strong avenue to get darned convincing arguments. In fact, individual students may not be able to come up with a solid argument. However, in a group presentation, students share the range of ideas.
